I've been spotting gluten free products from Mannings Bakery in shops recently and today I got this lovely press release introducing their gluten free products. Se here it is:
“Family Run Manning’s Bakery Launch Dedicated Gluten Free Bakery Range”
Dublin, Ireland: Manning’s Bakery opened their first dedicated Gluten Free Bakery in September 2015 and have been quietly working on recipe development and creating a loyal customer base since. This week the bakery is officially launching its certified Gluten Free occasion cake & treat range as well as their new luxury Gluten Free wholesale Brand, The Liberty Baker.
Manning’s Gluten Free bakery specialises in fresh to order, handmade and certifiably Gluten Free occasion cakes, desserts and treats and products are available for delivery throughout Dublin. Gluten free cakes are also available through their three Dublin based bakery shops (The Liberties, Blanchardstown & Tallaght). According to Brian Mc Carthy, New products & Services Development Manager and the 3rd generation of the Manning Family to work in the business, they want to bridge the gap between reliably Gluten free product and handmade, great tasting cakes:
“Even though the availability of pre-packaged gluten free options is improving, the certifiable coeliac friendly choice still tends to be a functional compromise rather than a worthy alternative to what the rest of us get to share. Customers avoiding Gluten can now confidently order a lovingly crafted Manning’s Bakery Occasion cake and know it is 100%, certifiably Gluten Free, handmade & delicious”.
Manning’s will also be baking Gluten Free cakes and treats for wholesale & food service under The liberty Baker brand which is currently being developed. Manning’s Bakery are also aiming to be able to deliver customized & bespoke cakes direct to customers’ outside of Dublin via the liberty baker Website (under construction).
The dedicated Gluten Free bakery is based in Nutgrove Enterprise Park in Rathfarnham. To date, two Jobs have been created and Manning’s are hopeful that the workforce will grow as the business develops.

Manning’s Bakery was established in Dublin by Cecil Manning in the 1950’s and is now owned and run by his daughter, Irene Manning.
